It is intended for use with silver brazing filler metals that melt below 750° C. If use it correctly, it will provide effective fluxing on the common engineering metals, such as copper, copper alloys(brass), mild steel and stainless steel, but not on aluminium. The working temperature range is 550 - 800° C.

1.Clean and degrease the joint surface before applying flux.

2. Mix flux powder with water and a few drops of liquid detergent to form a thick paste.

3. Brush paste onto the joint surfaces before assembly and externally rither side of the joint opening.

4. Easy-flo Flux powder adheres well to a warmed brazing rod allowing flux to be transferred to the joint area via the rod. It can be used to supplement a pre-fluxed area during heating.

5. Heat evenly to a brazing temperature. Avoid localised overheating.

6.If blackening of the component or flux occurs, this is a sign of insufficient flux, overheating or flux exhaustion.

7. Remove flux residues by soaking and then brushing in hot water.

https://goldentoolstore.com/products/johnson-matthey-250-gram-easy-flo%e2%84%a2-flux-powder-silver-copper-metal-brazing-fluxing-soldering-tools-deoxidization-casting
